TECHNICAL SUPPORT ENGINEER

Responsibilities: 
The Technical Support Engineer will be primarily responsible for local site issues including but not limited to: Laptop & Desktop duties, help desk tickets generated for work to be done onsite and projects that require local work at the site. The Technical Support Engineer will be an advocate for the local business group, as well as the delivery mechanisms for many IT services.

Participate in the development of policies, procedures and resources in relation to the network and/or systems Image, configure and deploy workstations 
Evaluate and test software packages to increase productivity
Roll out software packages (Antivirus, remote clients, etc.)
Perform desk side support (hardware, application, network)
Troubleshoot production systems and application issues
Ensure operating system, application patches and antivirus definitions are applied per specified schedules
Ensure close coordination with local Internet service and point to point leased line provider in event of service interruption.
Enforce company security procedures and policies by ensuring all workstations and laptops meet security guidelines
Inspire innovation by consistently evaluating processes, contribute feedback and ideas
Additional responsibilities and duties may be assigned.

Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent.
At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
