JOB SUMMARY:
Assist in planning, organizing and implementing a sound, comprehensive, preventive and corrective safety program covering the MICT building, facilities, machinery, equipment, fixtures, fire protection, and handling and stacking of containers. Assists in evaluating the effectiveness of the safety program and updates the program. Investigates all accidents and prepares full detailed reports. Ensures that all safety precautions are applied at the Terminal. Inspects regularly the premises for fire hazards.
Performs other duties, such as recommendation for promotion, hiring, transfer, suspension and other disciplinary actions on Employees as well as the approval of the vacation or sick leaves of the Safety Personnel.

QUALIFICATIONS:

MALE; 25 – 40 YEARS OLD;
HAS AN ENGINEERING DEGREE OR HAS THE EQUIVALENT WORK EXPERIENCE;
MINIMUM THREE(3) YEARS IN SAFETY OR RELATED FIELDS;
COMPUTER LITERATE;
WORKS IN AN OFFICE ENVIRONMENT AND FIELD/TERMINAL ENVIRONMENT.
