THREE(3) YEARS EXPERIENCE IN MECHANICAL FITTING (MARINE INDUSTRY); MUST HAVE ENGINEERING BACKGROUND;
HAVE THE KNOWLEDGE IN HYDRAULIC HOSES, KRIMPING AND TEST; MUST BE ABLE TO READ AND COMPREHEND PLANS AND DRAWINGS;
HAS EXPERIENCED INSTALLING MARINE ENGINES, GENERATOR SETS, ON-BOARD MACHINERIES AND EQUIPMENT;
GOOD IN ORAL AND WRITTEN COMMUNICATION(ENGLISH).
* FABRICATOR / LOFTSMAN *
DUTIES AND FUNCTION:
·REPORTING TO THE FABRICATOR FOREMAN;
·LAY OUT WORK FROM PLANS AND DRAWINGS, SKETCHES AND WORK ORDERS, LOCATES AND MARKS REFERENCE POINTS ON THE SHEET STOCKS, MAKING TEMPLATES WHEN NECESSARY;
·EMPLOY TRADES METHODS OF GEOMETRY AND TRIGONOMETRY TO LAY OUT FORMS WHICH WILL BEND, SEAM AND JOINT TO FORM REQUIRED TREE DIMENSIONAL SHAPE;
·FABRICATES, MODIFIES AND REPAIRS A VARIETY OF SHIP STRUCTURES OF VARIOUS SYSTEMS OR ITEMS OF EQUIPMENT, METAL PORTIONS OF YACHT AND WORKS WITH A VARIETY OF METAL MATERIALS, FABRICATE PARTS BY CUTTING AND BENDING PLATES ALONG LOCK SEAM, FORMS CONCAVE OR CONVEX SURFACES, SMOOTH OUT IRREGULARITIES AND CURVE ON METALS, DRILLS HOLES FOR BOLTS, RIVETS AND SCREWS;
· ASSEMBLES AND FIT UNITS BY FASTENING WELDING SECTIONS TOGETHER.
QUALIFICATIONS:
MINIMUM OF THREE (3) YEARS EXPERIENCE IN SHIPYARD WORKING AS FABRICATOR – STEEL AND ALUMINUM;
CAN READ AND COMPREHEND PLANS AND DRAWINGS;

* PIPEFITTER SUPERVISOR *
DUTIES AND FUNCTION:
·CONDUCT MATERIAL TAKE OFF FOR MISCELLANEOUS SYSTEM SUCH AS CHILLERS SYSTEM PIPING’S, HOT AND COLD WATER SYSTEM AND FUEL SYSTEM;
·SUPERVISE SILVER BRACING AND HYDRO TEST OF SYSTEM TO THE REQUIRED SPECIFIED PRESSURE;
·CONNECT PIPING’S FOR MISCELLANEOUS MACHINERIES SUCH AS GENERATOR OF MAIN ENGINE AND OTHER EQUIPMENT PRIOR TO OPERATIONAL TEST;
·CONDUCT SYSTEM CHECK FOR ACCURACY AND CHECK MECHANICAL JOINTS OF EVERY SYSTEM TO REQUIRED TORQUE.
QUALIFICATIONS:
TRADE SCHOOL GRADUATE OR JOURNEYMAN IN MARINE PIPEFITTING;
EXPERIENCE OF FIVE(5) YEARS, OVERSEAS PREFERRED;
ABLE TO WORK FROM SCHEMATICS, DRAWINGS, SPECIFICATIONS INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS;
EXPERIENCE IN COOPER, STAINLESS, COPPER NICKEL, PVC AND CARBON STEEL PIPING; EXPERIENCE IN SILVER BRAZING GAS WELDING;
PIPE LAYOUT AND ALIGNMENT SADDLING, SUPPORTING AND JOINING;
SUPERVISE AND GIVE THE WORK AND FOLLOW THROUGH TO COMPLETION INCLUDING HYDRO TESTING;
EXPERIENCE IN HYDRAULIC SYSTEM RUNNING STAINLESS STEEL TUBING, FLEXIBLE HOSES INCLUDING CRIMPING AND HYDRO TEST; WELL –VERSED IN CHILLED WATER SYSTEM SUCH AS FAN COILS AND AIR MAKE UP UNIT INSTALLATION;
TECHNICALLY CAPABLE IN SEWAGE AND BILGE SUCTION SYSTEM.

DUTIES AND FUNCTION:

·PREPARE PLANS AND EXECUTE IT ON PRODUCTION;
·CALCULATES HYDROSTATICS, STABILITY, STRENGTH OF MATERIAL AND SCANTLINGS OF THE VESSEL (IF POSSIBLE);
·COORDINATES WITH LLOYDS REGISTER SURVEYOR AND EQUIPMENT SUPPLIERS REGARDING VESSELS REQUIREMENT (WHERE NECESSARY);
·PREPARE VESSEL SPECIFICATIONS AND PARTICULARS;
·PREPARES BILL OF MATERIALS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE REQUIREMENT OF THE PLANS;
·PERFORM OTHER RELATED DUTIES AS ASSIGNED.
QUALIFICATIONS:
MINIMUM OF TWO(2) YEARS EXPERIENCE IN SHIPBUILDING (CAD DRAWINGS);
WELL-VERSED IN SHIPBUILDING TERMINOLOGY AND NOMENCLATURE;
