HANJIN HEAVY IDUSTRIES & CONSTRUCTION – PHIL. INC. (HHIC), THE WORLD’S PREMIER SHIPBUILDER OF HANJIN GROUP, IN 2006, ESTABLISHED ITS PHILIPPINES SUBSIDIARY, HHIC-PHIL, AND LAUNCHED THE SUBIC PROJECT.
A TOTAL OF KRW700 BILLION WAS INVESTED TO BUILD THE SUBIC SHIPYARD ON A PLOT SPANNING 3.3. MILLION SQUARE METERS OF APPROXIMATELY 500 HECTARES. THE SHIPYARD WILL BOAST WORLD CLASS FACILITIES AND EQUIPMENT. MUCH PROGRESS HAS ALREADY BEEN MADE.
